DeviantArtA lil bit late on this one, but I just wanted to do a followup on the original mannequin girl, Sammy, and what she's doing these days in October. While not completely successful in removing the mannequin morph, she still figured out to regain control of her body and now manages an adult store.

08 - Assimilation
DeviantArtFor the past week or so, a high volume of police reports have been filed citing a group of attackers, all with similar-fitting appearances, stalking different corners of the city. Consistent with every report is the distinction of "fox-like humanoids, almost doll-like in appearance" stalking victims as they use "some form of radio emittance" that causes headaches and nausea. Some reports even mention disturbing voices.
Am behind on NiteChangers due to a shoulder injury, not at 100% right now.

Got behind on this series due to being really sick the past 7 or so days. Still trying to recoperate and get back to normal but I'm recovering very fast.
12 - Alien Pod
DeviantArtSammy can only gurgle quietly though her thin alien vent holes as she remains helpless to respond to Headquarters. The communicator succumbs to the gooey sinews wrapping around its metal body, already doomed to fuse with the planetary ooze and become nothing more than another organic apparatus just like everything else. Sammy bends around to look at her ship - it retains its shape and form and even most of its functions yet is a contorted and appalling imitation of its former self, completely restructured into the living planet's own image. Sammy realizes she isn't far removed from that description, herself.
A tentacle wraps lovingly around Sammy, affectionately rubbing her face and caressing her body. It wasn’t long after arrival before it thoroughly explored her human biology, too, welcoming itself within her womanhood and integrating a system that would feed high levels of stimulation to regulate her thoughts and feelings. When its not loving on her, it seems to like showing her assimilated objects that it claimed from outer space, not unlike a child showing off their toys to a parent. While its thought patterns are very simplistic and instinctive, Sammy can clearly tell it sees her as “one of its own” and worthy of constant love and protection. Unfortunately, this also translated into extreme hostility towards anything that wasn't one of its objects. As the radio blared, Sammy watched it become extremely hostile towards the voice, then calmed down as the voice ultimately fizzled out from the planetary fusion. It lovingly rubbed up against Sammy's face again, as if relieved that she's safe.
Sammy struggles with her new alien feelings. Everything that feels good – the affection, the stimulation, the feelings of acceptance and submissiveness – are all lies. She knows it’s all meant to lull her into the trap that was the alien’s ownership, and yet she still loved it. She cannot even properly panic or feel despair as such emotions are effectively muted. It’s a psychological battle she knows she’s losing and will likely end with her being happily submissive. Her only hope is knowing that HQ will ultimately pick up on her last activities before falling prey to the PLANET OF THE SPORES.
How's that for something scary? Decided to throw in a short story with it, as well. Still really behind on NiteChangers but I've mostly recovered from my sickess from last week. Should be back at full-speed shortly.
Also, don't worry too much about Sammy: in the sequel, she and the tentacle go on a date and everything is all good.

NiteChangers 2020 - 15 - BioMorph
DeviantArtDecided to bring back one of my most underused OCs, Silvii, for some NiteChangers action. While she's normally not a bad guy, she ends up playing one way too well for her own good (and that's supposed to be Dreadyne's job, anyway). While Silvii is canonically very shy about her ability to use cores, we see here a version in which she not only embraces it but seems to do so a little too much.
