A strong re-telling of the classic Cinderella story by LAD64 on DeviantArt, where Cinderella is not helped by a fairy-godmother, but instead Maleficent, who offers Cinderella, who wishes to attend the ball, a solution. But Cinderella not only wants to attend to the ball, but also that her horrible family doesn't. Maleficent decides to make that wish come true. In some way at least…
In the end, Cinderella gets possessed by Maleficent, and to make sure her family certainly can't attend to the ball by themselves, Maleficent begins unbirthing them one by one. The problem is just, that Maleficent forgets the time a bit and the possession was actually supposed to end at midnight…

The stranger giggled in amusement at the human’s fear before approaching, her heels clopping against the dirt. “My name is Maleficent and I’m here to help you.”
The blonde tilted her head, puzzled by this claim. “Help me?”
Maleficent stood only a foot away from Cinderella now, the latter seeing the former was taller than her by two heads. “Yes, help you. Think of me as your fairy godmother.”
Cinderella relaxed greatly. Her father had told her stories about fairy godmothers when she was little and how they helped you if you were truly miserable in life, however, Maleficent looked different to how Cinderella’s dad described them. But he also said that fairy godmothers were always honest so this woman’s words must be true.
“I’ve been watching you for some time now girl,” Maleficent continued, placing a hand on Cinderella’s shoulder. “I know how your step-family abuses you, making you do all the chores with no rest or reward to compensate.”
“You can say that again,” the overworked woman agreed with a roll of her eyes. “I don’t know why they treat me the way they do but it’s truly unfair.”
Maleficent smirked. “Well my dear girl, that’s why I’m here. I’ll make your wishes come true.”
