Smooth Plastic by Nate Walis
This fantastic doll transformation story by Nate Walis follows the actor and model Eliza Aukerman getting contacted by a Japanese doll company about one of their best-selling models. A mermaid doll called Princess Iyesha had actually been based partially off of her, and the most recent project of the company was to create a live-action park where all those extremely famous dolls would come to live. But what the company had in mind wasn't just a normal costume, but for the models to truly become those dolls with a perfect resemblance. From the plastic-like skin, to the doll-joins, and in the case of Eliza, even the colourful mermaid tail.
The story details Eliza's transformation and surgeries to become this perfect living version of Iyesha as she goes from a normal human being and transforms into a living plastic lifeform, perfectly bringing the Princess doll to life.

‘Good afternoon,’ the man’s English was accented, but otherwise perfect. ‘You are Miss Aukerman? Miss Eliza Aukerman, actress and model?’
Eliza nodded; it was a long time since she had been called a straight up actress and the man’s polite manner had caught her a little off guard. The nod was greeted with a smile and another in return.
‘May I introduce myself,’ the man went on. ‘I am Mr Takemura, and this,’ he pointed at his younger companion, ‘is Mr Shima, my junior colleague.’ Takemura retrieved a smart black wallet from his jacket pocket and presented it to Eliza with a gesture of pride and reverence.
‘Thanks,’ she said as she accepted the card, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t have one of my own to give you…’
‘No matter,’ Takemura breezed past the issue, ‘such small matters cannot be allowed to stand in the way of business.’
‘Business?’
‘Yes, business,’ Takemura smiled again, ‘Mr Shima and I have a proposal which we would like to offer you; it is possibly very lucrative for you, but also a very private matter. Is there a place where we may speak in private?’
