ERROR! I Think I'm the MaidBot by PhoenixianSirenanna
Another outstanding maidbot story I recently found about a maidbot restarting and realizing there seemed to have been a major accident in their owner's home. She found a lot of error messages, as well as not remembering anything of her previous owner or time working in the home she found herself in. Going through the house, she finds that there seemed to have been a major lighting strike which had fried a lot of the electronics in the house. A Neighbour comes around, very concerned when he saw the damage the house had taken and the electronics had taken. Having basically no memories, the maidbot asks the man, stating that this maidbot-unit seemed to have some kind of system failure. The neighbour, looking perplexed initially, then explains that he was the fiancé of the maidbots Mistress, Anna. As Anna was apparently away, he would be her Owner for now, which the maidbot accepts quickly. Only after quite some time serving the man, some memories come back of whom the bot actually is, as well as why an old, broken maidbot unit was stored in the house the entire time…

I awoke on the floor in pain, Error messages flooding my mind! I was crumpled on my right side, my right leg curled up, and my left leg fully extended over it. My face and thus my line of sight, was facing towards a see through sliding glass patio door. I could see lightning flashing in the sky, but no rain or hail. My arms were lying outwards, with my right arm beneath me, and my left arm resting across my body, extended towards my other arm, and partially across it onto the floor.
I tried to take stock and remember what happened but my mind drew a blank. Not only could I not remember what happened, but also I couldn't remember anything about myself either. Instinctively I looked inwards, accessing my Error messages but they weren't much help either. The messages indicated my system had crashed unexpectedly, and something had forced an abrupt shutdown. I cleared each message as I finished reading it, making each message go away, one at a time, when my operating system began to reboot unexpectedly.
Just before the reboot occurred, I saw a message indicating that some of my files were corrupt. These files would be deleted if suitable replacements couldn't be found in a day, or two, as they were not necessary for my programming to function properly. Once I had fully rebooted, I knew what I was. I was a MaidBot, with additional programming added so I could offer more functionality. My owner could use me as a SexBot, NurseBot, RepairBot, MaintenanceBot, ConstructionBot, CookBot, WifeBot, and more.
Once I was fully operational, I sat up, trying to assess what had happened to me. That was when I noticed some burn marks on my frame and on my clothing. Immediately, following my programming, I went in search of a first aid kit, as most Noids are compatible with Human first aid kits. I removed my burnt clothing, checked for damage in the bathroom mirror, and then applied any repairs as needed. I noticed there were burn marks on my shoulders, neck, and some soot on my face, which I cleaned. When I tried to restyle my hair back into an acceptable hairdo, I noticed a pain at the top of my head, as well. After a little trial and error, I applied the burn treatment compound and worked it into my scalp, and then I reformed my hair into a standard MaidBot hairdo...
