My job is at a supermarket, it isn’t the best but it’s fun. Meeting new people and getting to see the new product first is cool. But there are downsides, like meeting the new people. Not all of the people/customers are bad but some how the bad manage to our way the good ones. But it’s not bad enough to hate my job. My colleagues are good and everyone does their jobs. I just have to fill the shelves and make them look nice.

At least I’m not serving the customers like those on front end. And sometimes they just have to stand there four an hour or so during the quite times. They would like to go home but it seems to be busy one hour and not the next. So we have more front end staff on then we need. So that when they are free they can help fill the selfs.

I like to think I’m in charge of them then but I’m only 18 and far from being that manager of my department. When the boss and I are on boss just sits in their office while I do all the work. But other times when it’s his day off it is just me rostered for filling. While at that time I know the most about where things go and how to do everything I’m still not really in charge. Which is good as I don’t need to worry about messing up too much...
