She had insisted so much that I just had to say yes to her little game. I was in this lesbian relationship with Chloe for about two years, and if there was one thing I knew about her, it was that she was a massive Supergirl fan. Not only that, I had to accept that she loved a fictional character more than me. Sure, she wasn't completely delusional and knew Supergirl wasn't real, but she very easily allowed herself to forget that fact.

I also knew she had selected me for my physical attributes. I was fit, blonde, and quite pretty, so it was no secret that parallels could be traced between me and her beloved Supergirl. To her credit, she wasn't even trying to hide that. We love who we love, after all.

So yes, today would be special for her, no doubt about it. It was Halloween, and after she insisted so much for the past few months, yes, months, I finally accepted to wear a Supergirl costume for her. She said she would take care of everything and plan our entire evening. Not having to lift a finger for once sweetened the deal and pushed me into acceptance.

Earlier, Chloe came to my office. I always worked from home, which made it very easy for her to do so. Then, she told me something along the line…
