"That is all for today, students." the teacher announced as she concluded the lesson. She finally turned to the thirty odd children who were copying all the notes written on the table before they needed to hurry to their next class or - for the lucky ones - to home. The clock mercilessly ticked faster and faster towards the point where the lesson would officially end so they needed to hurry with post haste to scribble down everything they could to enjoy that tad bit of free time they would have afterwards. The pens were virtually scorching the words into their exercise books as they hurried - the price they had to pay for talking and discussing other things during the class. But they had no regrets: everyone did this as some kind of sport, to hastily race at the end of the class to see who could get more notes; it was a matter of a childish pride. Of course in the end most of them had nothing but gibberish copied down... and eventually even those who had useful morsels in their student books ultimately turned to the only person who did try and focus throughout every session and the one who always helped out others: Ana.
