Lil' Miss Codi's Cursed Easter Egg Hunt! 2024

"BIG TITTY CLOWN! BIG TITTY CLOWN!" The eggs cried out in unison. Codi groaned, but not too loudly or else it would be an audible honk again.

The pink clown trotted through the forest as quickly as his heel-running skills allowed. Even in grass, the SQUEAK... SQUEAK... of his shoes were just as imminent and obnoxious as they were on hard pavement. His thighs rubbed together uncontrollably, producing a noise similar to rubbing a balloon. The clown's suit portrayed no more than the illusion of breast support as they bounced and flopped freely, and his legs were robbed of any protection as shiny blue stockings graced half his feminine form. Absolutely everything on Lil' Miss Codi's body was in service of squeaking, honking or sexualization as this bimbo clown body became his - or rather, her - prison.

"Hmmnnnk..." Codi whimpered through her clown nose. Time wasn't on her side, and neither were the smiling eggs that kept chanting idiotic sentences.

"BIG TITTY CLOWN! BIG TITTY CLOWN!"

Her eyes darted around the swirling pink forest. For days now, Codi had been lost in some twisted distortion of reality, a place that would fit right inside an Alice in Wonderland story. Eggs smiled back at her, and one by one, would chant phrases in unison at her. Sometimes they provided clues or pointed her in a direction, other times it was just nonsense or mocking her appearance. Either way, she had no choice but to hunt them down. Trees were bent and distorted. Brick pathways kept her on track. Small islands and debris floated in the misty yellow distance. Everything was devoid of logic. It was somewhat relieving to Codi that she was not being forced to walk around like this in her world, and in some sense, she fit in quite well to her surroundings.

The witch she talked to yesterday was quite amused by Codi’s appearance and even giggled at her honking, but it wasn’t exactly to mock her. At the very least, the witch informed Codi that collecting eggs was most definitely the best course of action - as well as the only one, unfortunately.

An Easter egg hunting curse? She thought to herself. Really?

"BIG TITTY CLOWN! BIG TITTY CLOWN!"

"mmNHONK!" Codi lost her temper, gripping the basket harder as she stared blue-eyed daggers at the dummy eggs. It was a petite, frustrated honk, something that nobody would mistake as remotely threatening.

"HONK HONK! WHY SO MAD? YOU'RE SO CLOSE!"

She frowned, letting out a sad, slow honk.

Sorry, clown fever got me again this year, except this time it's not Curse! I just went with Codi instead, or rather... Lil' Miss Codi the Clown! Muahaha! Please enjoy my short, nonsensical story. I definitely miss writing these.

Zyla's ears vibrated uncomfortably. Her eyes followed a large hand guiding it's fork into the final pieces of a steak, which then guided itself up to a middle-aged fellow's mouth. Even from a table away, it was still somehow loud as hell, and so was the chewing. Even the soft jazz in the speakers above seemed louder than she remembered. Everything was incredibly sensitive.

My ears... Oh, my God...

CLNG!

Nghh... She groaned internally. The tiny statue's lips were perfectly full and poofy like the little goddess that she was. Her eyes crossed as she attempted to look at her own nose. Her jaw was sore from stretching and widening against the tight porcelain flesh; it was never going to open anything. Obviously, no one wants their own utensils to speak back to them, so it was understandable.

Please... can someone just, like... notice me? I'm right here.

Under normal circumstances, Zyla's physique was the result of a lifetime of training - she was nimble, athletic and her foes routinely walked away with bruises and broken bones, and that's only assuming they can still walk. But as a foot-tall statue holding up a wine glass, the vixen was no more than a tiny effigy to her own objectification. Her spine was unnaturally curved for the purpose of being an effective cup holder. Her breasts grew a few sizes larger and protruded outward, as did her ass. She groaned, looking down at the suit logo etched upon her chest. Really? That was especially cruel.

Zyla could turn her neck a few inches to look around the restaurant, but she could only handle it for a few seconds before the strain was too much, snapping her back to her intended pose. Zyla watched the loud fork guy stand up from his table, forgetting to leave a tip as walked out the front entrance, not even noticing the poor fox. It was officially the last customer of the night.

Just a quick rundown: Kade McKenna is a wiccan in training who wants to excel in her studies and become a true ordained sorceress. She's fun, she's chipper, and she's always hanging around Veridae as her personal assistant, who is a highly-skilled ordained sorceress that is gifted as much as she is controversial. It's the internship of a lifetime, and while ventures with Veridae are routinely rife with danger and uncertainty and weirdness, it's never a dull moment...
Peanut is her little zerukmo friend that has a whole story and a half of his own, but for simplicity's sake, he is a SEED unit, which entails a bunch of specific zerukmo-style abilities, but Kade just calls him Peanut because it's cool. He doesn't talk.

Darkest Magick #12: Dancing in the Diamond Theater

Just beyond the paper-thin limits of mortal perception lies a home for the fantastic and the surreal, a plane that refuses to bend to the laws of ordinary space and time. Mystified and mischievous entities freely danced and twirled, their forms presented as little more than impressionistic blobs of chaotic energy. No reasoning could be applied, no train of thought was built to last - the Nomad’s Plane was in the service of the subconscious, the thoughts that directed us in the deepest edges of our dreams, now brought into clear, unfiltered reality.

From time to time, whether it be an intentional mission or an accidental trip through a rabbit hole, mortals will find themselves traversing this parallel realm. There has never been one single method of entering the Nomad’s Plane and there never will be. Entities may look upon them with wonder, just as the mortals look back with confusion. Strangers are often met with the friender side of the Plane - those with quite tangible forms, cohesive thoughts and familiar languages. As long as one does not stray off from the central path, the threat of imminent chaos will at least be minimized, and an unforgettable experience is highly possible. The farther one strays off the path and into the dark wilderness, the more it becomes unclear, paradoxical, surreal.

Even in the Nomad’s Plane, the Diamond Theatre never had a fixed location. Typically hidden behind walls of fog at extremely late hours of the night, a confused onlooker heading to their car may squint at the enticing, distant glow of circus lights and fun music. Dancing, winding beings of swirling color spun gracefully, smiling and laughing back at the hapless stranger as they beckoned them further inside. It wasn’t the type of thing one would expect hiding behind a gas station or in an empty parking lot that hasn’t been visited in half a decade, but that is how the story always goes. Rumors of a haunted theater often got around in the places it regularly appeared - the Nowhere, USA types of areas - and like any good rumor, there were always just enough people lacking in self-preservation to seek it out. Those who ultimately do find out come back with vague, mumbling recounts. Some were gone for weeks or months or even years. Others disappeared completely and never returned, ever again. Nobody knew why.

“More passion! More ENERGY!”

The stage director sat diligently in the front row, holding a clipboard as she shouted out to the dancer. Her rounded, oversized glasses hid most of the maskarella’s expressions, but like any of the others, her skin was ghostly white and adorned in some level of garish color. Pink lips matched her pink bobbing hair, along with the ridiculously large fedora. Amongst fellow denizens of the theater, there was no such thing as looking too ridiculous, and the boldest of the bold were the most rewarded.

“Strut those stockings, clown! Jiggle those jugs! Clack those heels!”

Despite the monochromatic cat’s experience with being nimble and unnaturally stretchy, she was genuinely shocked at how graceful she was in these stompy, high-platformed stilettos. The spins of a ballerina were pulled with zero effort, her arms flexing in and out and above her head as she flowed across the stage, then followed it up with a series of backflips. Every clack of her heels produced an obnoxious HONK that echoed through the empty theater. And despite her comically oversized breasts being in the way constantly, the skimpy suit did a good job of keeping them in place rather than haphazardly flopping in random directions or smacking her in the face.

The green aura brought Charlie’s thigh straight up to her chest, nearly parallel with her standing body. The energy was not incredibly forceful, but it was enough that she complied with its physical commands, which were clearly all extensions of the Director’s words. With a quick magick POOF, she summons a striped green clown horn, then proceeds to strategically honk at her own crotch.

HONK! HONK HONK HONK!!

A layer of sweat covered her chest, running down her torso, neck and arms. Her uniform was already glossy, but the perspiration brought a slight extra shine to her cursed nylons and her bodysuit. The plastered-on fake grin and her tired eyes nestled somewhere between uncanny and honest with her successful performance. She was learning fast.

Charlie’s ears perked up in the direction of a quiet chuckle. She glanced over at the director with some level of contempt in her eyes, but it was the kind of contempt where she knew not to do it too much or else she would face another reprimanding. The feeling of not saying how she felt and the freedom of doing as she pleased being stripped away was painful. It was suffocating. It was worse than anything she experienced as a human, and it was the entire reason she put on the Gothic Cat suit in the first place: to feel unbound and unafraid as her insecurities dropped away. Not that it mattered anymore, anyway, as the suit elements of her transformation had been long dissolved into her actual being, so to have this happen on top of it was likely confirmation that she’d probably never see her former male Charlie Cat body, ever again, let alone the human body that predated it.

Or maybe she was overthinking it.

The permanent piano-like grin etched across her face never faltered nor fell down - it was a sickening, plastic smile that betrayed every conviction in her soul, and it kept her completely dead silent except for the perpetual jingles and honks of her maskarella uniform. Maskarellas did not wear masks or uniforms to hide their real feelings. She approached the Director.

“Very decent performance, clown. You did well.”

Charlie bowed slightly.

“We’re certainly teaching this naughty troublemaking cat a lesson, now aren’t we?”

Charlie grimaced through her frozen grin, daring to furrow her brows at the Director.

“A silly stretchy kitty terrorizing an innocent city with his own version of righteousness? That is deserving of some rehabilitation, don’t you think? Perhaps giving back to those you disturbed - even for a little while - might humble you?”

Is everything a rhetorical question with you? The more questions she was given, the more her frustration grew. Who the hell did I disturb, bitch? I was HELPING people.

Her voice was middle-aged and experienced - the cat assumed she was some type of teacher in a past life.

The important thing is I believe you see others as being the enemy to your visions, and until you see otherwise, it’s the safest to keep you here and train you into a proper, respectable maskarella. I promise you will find no dull moments here in the Diamond Theatre.”

Charlie’s fists tensed up and clenched, only for her to release her tension. Her shoulders hung and her head tipped down. The ceiling lights in the enormous auditorium illuminated her silken legs perfectly, and she didn’t bother to look away or get distracted. Of all the stupid ways to drag someone into a curse, this is what the maskarellas chose to do with him? Or rather… her. She ran a gloved hand down her thigh, pinching at the stockings as she watched the material snap back to her thigh. It’s easy to forget how much the thigh high heels simply covered so much of her legs versus how much they were now exposed. Charlie Clown expected to stop thinking about them after a few days, but her legs were such a prominent part of her outfit that it was basically impossible. They absolutely were gorgeous to look at and fit the theme of being a world-class performer. It’s not like she didn’t have experience with such a thing given how her former Gothic Cat suit functioned, but this was recontextualized into something designed to shame her… Or at least in her mind, it did. Charlie’s enjoyment of crossdressing and embracing the forbidden freedoms of the opposite gender were really put on display now that she was actually forced to become female. What felt like instruments of kink fulfillment were now just daily, ordinary things she had to wear for work, and her brain had to learn to adjust. This was all on top of being transformed into an ethereal being that did not function like a mortal creature. In a sense, the curse binding her to this maskarella form revolved exclusively around crossdressing.

It also didn’t help that the size of her breasts were a constant distraction, which was categorically the worst part of the curse. She lived in fear of the Director saying “make them bigger” again in response to any kind of insult or disobedience, and they only shrunk back to a manageable size if she was on good behavior, so that’s what she did. Any amount of squeezing or slapping of her breasts would produce a cartoon-style HONK that would immediately result in everyone present to begin laughing, or at the very least, ask some pertinent questions, so she was very careful where she placed her hands while doing literally anything. In some way, it helped that people were far more drawn to the breasts and her swirling eyes than the actual cause of the curse, so she counted her blessings.

The Director tapped the clipboard. “Are we ready for our next act? Remember: how you look in rehearsal is how you will look in a live show. The attitude and confidence you bring to me is what shall be brought to your loving audience. Understood?”

Charlie Clown nodded.

“Good. Let’s begin our next routine.”

In a shocking turn of events, I have decided to resurrect my Darkest Magick series from the dead for CLOWN WEEK! A fun time to write about maskarellas, as well as the mystifying Nomad's Plane and the Diamond Theater.
I have also decided that a familiar troublemaking rubbery cat has finally been caught and punished for the chaos he caused! And in classic maskarella fashion, it's something of an ironic punishment. How long will he stay this way? Who knows? He - or rather, she - better get used to clowning around!

Based off of something Nominu did recently, which was based on a thing I did, which was also just a fancy edit of an older drawing of mine that was ALSO based on a thing Nominu did. Make sure to give this great artist some lovin because they deserve it big time.
As for the lore with Zemil...
I consulted Nominu in private and it seems that gargoyles are designed to fend off demons, except they're used in a bit of a fucky way AKA actual people are required in order to make them (correct me if i'm wrong). For this story I made up, Zemil does escape the witch that bound him in the previous picture, but after being exposed to moonlight, he realizes the curse didn't actually go away and returns to his gargoyle form.
During sunlight, he is fully functional, can fly around, speak, and act just like himself, except in the body of a gargoyle. He has all the same demon-repelling qualities as a normal gargoyle, including total resistance to possessions, curses and general magic influences, but it clearly requires this curse in particular to function. But once the moonlight hits, he is petrified once again, so it's somewhat in reverse compared to how a normal garg works.
There's a possibility of me drawing Zemil in his daywalking gargoyle form, but that might be for later.

Codi huffs, closing the door behind her as she finally finds some solace after another work day. One of many by now, in fact. She honestly lost count.

Passing in front of the mirror, she grabs for her usual gray hoodie - it was the last remaining symbol of her old self - and begins slipping her head through the top.

Sticking an arm through one of the sleeves, she looked around for her purse. The standard uniform offered little in terms of pockets, and being a girl suddenly demanded a lot of maintenance she wasn't ready for. She hung it over her shoulder - it was small, cute, and would get the occasional compliment.

Once the hoodie fully went on, she snapped her fingers. The body suit, exposing her assets in all it's glory, began spreading down her legs until it converted into a dress outfit. It only went so far down her thighs, but it was the best she could do. Wearing actual pants wasn't a thing, anymore, and there were already too many casualties as a result of her protesting.

The initial shock of her dress code was overwhelming, but now, it just felt normal. She stopped worrying as much about her new appearance, and in most cases, people just thought she was a cute fuzzy rabbit.

Looking back in the mirror, the Club Lepus bunny frowned.

Have I really just accepted this like it's normal?

Codi wasn't even sure if she was sad. Just... conflicted.

For all the things that sucked ass about this curse, Codi's new life forced her to face a harsh reality. This job went far past being a simple waitress - she was dancing, performing, traveling, adventuring, seeing the world in a new way. She encountered friends she'd never otherwise have a reason to care about. She laughed and cried. While incredibly flawed, her new life was extravagant.

The old Cody's life... Really wasn't. The unemployed stoner personality lacked any sort of ambition in the world, lost to the fears of what he was faced with. He accepted being the funny extrovert of the friend group, too afraid to make any changes as he accepted his role. He didn't get depressed, but he wasn't truly happy, either.

A few tears rolled down her face.

For all the pain it caused... I don't know if I want this to go away, anymore...

I wish I could just... Go back and hug my old self. Or something. I never really knew how bad I was actually having it.

...Wait.

The bun blinked, not realizing how long she'd stood there. She looked towards the digital clock: 10:45pm already!? Am I spacing out?

She shook her head.

Goddammit... This is so stupid. If I had the option of doing both, it wouldn't be nearly as bad, but here we are. And... After four months, I still have no idea how to fix it, anyway. I just have to deal with it.

Turning away from the mirror, Codi switches off the lights and exits the powder room. It was just another night going home from work.

Report from Miss Veridae Tricca...

Times are becoming stranger and stranger still. Maskarellas, after decades and decades enshrouded in mystery, are emerging from the shadows and greeting the waking, conscious world. If you told me a year or two ago that I would even see one with my own eyes - let alone conducting full interviews - I would have laughed, but alas, here we are.

The four maskarellas I am interviewing in question are Axis, Little Miss Rabbit, Watchtower, and of course, our troubled yet valued resident companion, Curse. All four consented to the interview and were not forced to answer any questions that pushed their mental thresholds.

While maskarellas do not display the same gamut of emotions as an ordinary mortal, my goal is to hopefully bring us closer to understanding them and perhaps destigmatize what most fear to be troublesome sprites and monsters. Some have practically no issue interacting with society, while others are so blatantly abstract that they cannot begin to grasp the concept of socializing. I must value what I have here and provide it to the High Order for further conductive studies.

AXIS

Axis is functionally a mime with telekinetic powers. He is capable of creating invisible objects out of thin air instantly. I am unsure of their complexity, but I've observed they can take the shape of basic objects, like a hammer or a bat, or they can act as small, temporary rooms, such as the classic mime box.

Axis is the only maskarella of the four I've interviewed that openly admits he was human. The others are indirect when I ask, but Axis is quite open and vocal. This is where I learned that using his voice causes his powers to nullify for 24 hours, and admits that he rarely speaks as his powers outweigh the usefulness of talking. He proposed that this was due to his introverted nature while human.

Axis had spent more than a fair bit of time as a missionary (or a "bopper" as humans prefer to call it recently) after a freak accident and was dancing and singing his poor heart out. Unfortunately, he was not aware of the situational error that comes with being a bopper for too long, and so he crossed over into maskarella territory and was never able to turn back, again. I gave him my condolences but he didn't seem extremely fussed about his situation.

LIL MISS RABBIT

Lil' Miss Rabbit is a circus-themed ringleader clown who seems to specialize in using a magick whip. She is a bright blue bunny in a tight-fitting leotard outfit made specifically for her line of work, swirling hypnotic eyes and long, shapely legs. She runs and maintains an exclusive circus known as the Cirque de Lapin.

Rabbit appeared confident and comfortable during the interview and often smiled. She absolutely exuded femininity and I can only imagine how difficult it is for her colleagues not to stare a bit too much! She explained some of the nuances behind the Cirque de Lapin - maskarellas craved expression and freedom and could not tolerate withholding their feelings, and this was something of an outlet for them. Axis and Watch Tower were both part of the Cirque and were convinced by Lil Miss Rabbit to do this interview.

She was, at first, quite rational and did not send off any red flags - until she told me that "Lil' Miss Rabbit" was not a real person. According Rabbit, this was no more than a persona that she was wearing, and that it was theoretically possible that anyone could become like her. However, she decided that it was best to hold onto it rather than pass it on due to her personal enjoyment of the position. She then added that the transference process was best left in obscurity so nobody would start asking questions.

Did she mean it was possible to actually spread it? I was unable to get much more info out of this specific detail, sadly. Trade secrets, I suppose.

WATCH TOWER

Watch Tower was a very tall and abstract figure with an elongated neck, and claimed to be a former lava lamp (an interesting human invention I had to look up!), so this was likely the only one of the group that was formerly an inanimate object. They spoke softly and deliberate, and wasn't overly chatty unless it was to impart whatever wisdom they held.

Tower (I believe they were neither male nor female in preference) claimed to have clairvoyance and could see multiple possible events into the future. They also claimed to be able to unearth deep, profound moments of suffering within someone's past and heal it without trouble. I wasn't able to find proof about this during our interview, but they were completely cordial about their intentions and I never got the sense that they were lying.

CURSE

Curse is a complicated fellow who I have an extensive history with and, unsurprisingly, was the hardest to interview. Despite living amongst wiccan society at my estates for over a year, he is still very uncomfortable around people, always a bit standoff-ish and feels the need to prove something constantly - or he feels like someone is always trying to get him....

For posterity reasons: Curse is the sole wielder of the Harlequin Diamond, which is an old wiccan artifact that grants powerful magick abilities, often relating to transformation. It manifests as a staff, which he wields quite skillfully. There is no obvious way to separate him from the Diamond without instant death, so we must tolerate the situation.

Curse flat out admitted that he traveled to Earth on a spiritual mission to stop some godless demon he saw in his dreams. Considering the fact he was under my custody and I have to continuously prove to the High Order that he will evolve as a person, I was prepared to absolutely bend him into a pretzel - but upon returning home, he genuinely seemed much more sociable. Not all the way there yet, but it was a shocking improvement.

I was admittedly in disbelief to discover that he made quite a handful of friends on Earth, specifically one female human with a particular "lycanthropic disorder" that he wanted me personally to investigate. I wasn't against it, but to see him show genuine empathy and concern for others had me far more invested. At least until he listens to the diamond again and causes more trouble. That will be for future me.

The Cheeky Lil' Miss Rabbit

Lil' Miss Rabbit is a character I've actually had for quite a while, but never gave her an official presence outside of the errant drawing here and there.
She is basically a female Curse: really quick and clever, big trickster, very sexualized and feminine, hard to trust and can be very overwhelming, but unlike Curse, she is less bogged down by insecurities and fears. She is the ringleader of a mysterious circus known as the Cirque de Lapin, which is ran and operated entirely by maskarellas, and she tends to use a magick whip for various purposes. This gives a pretty good idea of the types of people you would see. If you don't know what maskarellas are, I gotcha covered.
Every decade or so, the title of Lil Miss Rabbit will get handed down to a new person and they proceed to take on said appearance and talents. The process of how this happens, as well as who is chosen, is never disclosed.
You can also count on more art of her because I am a lil obsessed with the design.

Some random lore details:

Showering for a lyminal is somewhat difficult as their skin is designed to absorb liquid, and it does so rather quickly. They are like walking sponges.

The darker parts of Rene's skin function as a type of layering/clothing and has a noticable thickness when touched. She's technically not naked, but there's no real way to remove it as it's lyminate, too.

This takes place somewhere in the story where Rene realizes she's gonna have to live with this for a while, so she's rediscovering a bunch of basic daily tasks.

Hardened criminals such as Patient #019d-Shreddy must be kept in check and away from functional society until deemed fit to reacclimate. At Moving Sands, the patient has been converted to a proprietary synthetic material reminiscent of nanorubber for the duration of her sentence, so both the restraints and the suit, itself, are all cohesively part of each other. Self-inflicted cuts and wounds heal themselves immediately, the restraints included. Full rehabilitation will, at minimum, take several years.

Commission for Buffbumblebee! Seeing as neurosentries have been on the menu recently (thanks to the lovely Shanher and Croft doing their own takes), I thought I'd try my hand at replicating their shading style, which is harder than it looks.

Not super comprehensive, but neuros are constructed of a liquidy alien substance called zerumesh, and are very closely related to zerukmos (hence the name). As implied by the design, they are initially bound up and encased in a veneer of zerumesh, but then it quickly converts the rest of the host's body from the outside in and hardcasts them into the shape of a bound mummy thing. They are functionally able to float and fly around and the drum cannons give them dexterity, but they are otherwise trapped within their own skin. Freaky but hot!

The ones behind zerukmos and neurosentries are a bit of a mystery, but they allegedly come from an isolated satellite that mimics the atmosphere of Earth. The name "Monolith Ultra" has come up a few times, however...

Zyla (Zerukmo Unit ZY-9006) Breakdown Sheet

Upon going through Zerumesh conversion, the Unit's strengths are carefully preserved and augmented in order to retain their most desirable traits. While Zyla's powers normally revolve around being able to control external electricity sources, she can now use electricity locally from her body, which happens to be quite a bit stronger. This is a highly useful ability and makes ZY-900-G a good choice for conversion. However, the give and take here is she can no longer suck it from external locations, and she has a limit to her charge. Also, being in complete service to the Zerumesh Collective means she is very limited on how individual she gets to be.

This is based on Shanher's Mermaid concept thing, which I highly recommend checking out. My design isn't 100% accurate to the vision but I think I got pretty close. Loved all of Shanher's recent neurosentry drawings so I couldn't resist.Quick rundown based on what I read: the necklace is magically imbued to cause the transformation. Once complete, it's embedded into the body and can't be removed unless there is some kind of intervention. It follows a long-standing tradition with an isolated tribe.

Shreddy the Crazy Rubber Mouse! (AsylumTech Suit)

AsylumTech is a concept created by my friend, Shreddy. They are full-body rubber suits created by a dubious organization with the intent of "rehabilitating" patients. Once worn, it fuses down into your body and converts you into a rubber-compliant being (which isn't far off from the rest of my own art), which allows for many, many different types of bondage punishments and functions which are all built into the experience.
Even the tiniest of offenses can subject you to something horny, like having your arms and legs bound, or your mouth gagged with a fake smile, or zipped shut, or nulges, or really anything you can imagine. The AsylumTech suits receive regular updates so you never know what will get added!
The lore is a lil hazy to me so you'd have to ask Shreddy (wherever she pops up) about how it all works. Not my concept!

Why the sudden name change from lyminate? Because it doesn't really represent the concept in a lore-accurate way, and it was always an off-the-cuff commissioner concept that also wasn't exactly mine, so I wanna set the record straight if I'm taking it more serious. Associating it with Zerumesh (taken from my Zerukmo concept) makes much more sense: it's a super advanced cybernetic type of material that can convert an organism into what's basically a full machine. Zerukmos are useful as a type of enhanced human where you are equipped with super strength, faster thinking and calculations, plus it's easier to handle hazardous materials and threats due to it's extreme resilience to damage.
I don't have a clear idea yet for how the slabs fit in, but we'll see sometime.

Latte gets part time work as a clown waitress for a little money, but doesn't anticipate how much she impresses the customers and staff with her cycling skills, specifically Lil Miss Rabbit. She was so good as Latte the Squirrel, in fact, that Miss Rabbit decided to extend her contract and make it full time!
It's impossible to fall off or lose any balance once sitting upon the unicycle, but it also means she's pretty stuck to it until her shift ends, so it makes for a lot of creative maneuvering around the theater.
