Solution

One method of self-bondage (自縛の一つの方法)

Aki wanted to design a self-binding method that could hang his hands behind his back and prevent his arms from struggling outward. There was no knot at the wrist and he could not break free, but he could easily untie it. The results are as shown in the picture. I can hang my wrists but cannot put them down. If I want to open my arms, the rope at the wrists will be tightened even more. I cannot open my wrists and cannot pull them out. It seems like a perfect self-binding. But as long as the red rope is pulled down from the arm and wrapped around the elbow, there will be room to break free and the binding can be easily released.

But a miscalculation occurred here. Although the fingers tied behind the back could hook the rope, they could not exert enough strength to pull the red rope down. They had to rely on door handles or hooks, which was a shortcoming.

Aki's note 1: The length of the two ropes is about 2.5~3 meters. Please remember to prepare scissors.
Aki's note 2: The prepared rope loop can achieve the same degree of restraint every time and can be used repeatedly without the need for scissors.
Aki's note 3: There is still a lot of space on the shoulders to tie a rope, which is perfect for making a knot. If you can't stand up, you can't use the door handle. Just tie the knot where your fingers can reach it, and you can easily take it off when needed. tie.
Aki's note 4: The connecting rope of Nihai Laofu has been changed to a time lock, trapping himself safely and perfectly.

p.s. Although it has been tested, everyone's body shape is different and the ropes used are different, so it is not necessarily guaranteed to be effective. If you’ve tried it, be sure to leave a comment below, thank you.

Some comments received:

1. Hook the yellow rope from the shoulder to the back. It is easier to untie than the red rope. If the yellow and red ropes are pulled out at a total of four positions, they will surely be untied.
2. If you find it difficult to reach into the loop made of yellow rope, you can also knot it to make a loop of a fixed size. This will lack the tightening feeling, but it can still be hung.
3. If the red rope is difficult to operate, you can also just keep your hands on the outermost side. There is no need to specifically keep your hands in the large rope loop.
