Prosthetics covers the addition of artificial limbs or body parts to characters, serving multiple purposes depending on the scenario. Prosthetics can replace limbs lost through amputation, providing functional replacement for missing body parts. More creatively, prosthetics can be used to conceal or replace real limbs while the actual limbs remain heavily restricted—imagine someone with their arms locked in a tight armbinder while prosthetic arms are attached at the shoulders to handle daily functions. This allows the character to maintain some autonomy and mobility while their real limbs experience full bondage restriction and sensory deprivation. The prosthetics themselves may be under the character's control, allowing them to move and function somewhat independently, or under someone else's control, making them a tool for further domination. Prosthetics can be simple or highly advanced, seamless or obviously artificial, and can range from purely functional to purely aesthetic enhancements or modifications to the character's appearance.
