One of those boys, I still call them all my boys, sent me a package almost six months ago. Just a small box with scrap of thin latex in it. A few days later I had it hooked up on the bench to one of my computers. The little black box had a covered mini-usb connection on one side that I hadn't paid attention to. Randy had sent me a link to his FTP site so I could get the software. I spent hours making it crawl, wiggle, curl into shapes before I realized the potential for the thing. Not only could it form shapes, but it could stretch out as well, up to a certain limit. A quick trip to the toy store netted me a Barbie doll to experiment on.

Maybe I need to tell you something more about myself before I go on. I may be queen of the geeks, but I'm still an introvert. I prefer to be alone most of the time.
