Celine by DieterSchaumer
This is a multipart story I recently came across on Disguised Writing. It follows the main character Moira and how she does her coworker Nick a favour and watches his house while he's away for a few days. It just turns out, that Nick has a special robot at home. What neither Moira nor Nick have realized yet, is that this robot can also function as a suit. Things get heated, when Moira decides to experiment with it.
“And then I said, seal the deal? More like, steal the wheel! Hah!”
The man across from her smiled politely, and then went back to stirring his coffee. Self-consciously, Moira took a sip of her own mug.
“You know, cause it was a automotive acquisition… anyway, this coffee’s pretty good. I didn’t know you could brew up a cuppa like this, Nick.” “Its a Sumatran blend… I’m glad you like it but I can’t take credit for the coffee. Celine made it.”
Moira’s eyes widened, then returned to feigned indifference as fast as she could catch herself.
“Celine?” “Yeah, Celine. Celine? Could you come in please?”
Defensively Moira took another sip of the mug and turned away from Nick. Despite herself, she was curious, and stared intensely at the figure calmly walking into the archway.
She bit her lip. “Celine” was gorgeous. A thin but well apportioned brunette, she had a kissable mouth in blood red lipstick and a gently sloping nose. Her eye-shadow was perfectly applied, just enough to add mystery but not caked on like a tramp. Her hair was cut medium length, swirling gently as it rested on her shoulders.
Her padded shoulders. Celine was wearing a pant suit, elegant but still professional. Perhaps a personal assistant? Still… that only bode slightly better…
“I’d like you to meet Celine. Celine, Moira.” “Err, how do you do?” “How do you do, Mrs. Leary.” “Oh! Its Ms. Leary… err… Miss…?”
Celine stared unblinkingly. She looked almost ridiculous… such a stupid expression…
